Believe it or not, this is the very first video for most of these people. If you pay attention to the eye contact, tone of voice, and overall natural demeanor, you’ll notice it feels significantly more natural than typical non-actors.
Two things help contribute to that. First, our proprietary laptop teleprompter hides the camera, so the subject can see anything they want when they’re staring into the lens — in this case it was the face of an interviewer. Second, it’s just a lot easier to be relaxed when you’re not hiring an expensive crew, getting wired up with a lapel mic on your jacket, and standing in an intimidating studio. The VidSimple is more comfortable, simple as that.
