VidLauncher: How to Request Editing

If you haven’t already uploaded your video files to the online workspace, first follow the simple uploading instructions located here.

Once you’ve uploaded the video footage and any other assets you’d like us to use (like product photos, logos, etc.), then you’re ready to give us your instructions and request editing. As you’ll see below, we know that not every client likes to work the same way, so we let you give us as many or as few instructions as you prefer.

These short videos will teach you the following:

1. Editing Instructions – Chef’s Choice or Micromanage?
   • Do you want to save time and let the experts make the big editing decisions? You can tell us to “chef’s choice” it.
   • Do you have a clear idea of what you want the finished product to look like, and you want to ensure it looks the way you imagined? Go ahead and micromanage, we love that method too.
2. Payment Options for Edit Requests:
   • New clients pay using the 1 Click Process by default. This speeds up productions by charging your card as soon as you send us a quicklink request to start editing.
   • But if you don’t mind slowing things down, you can ask for the 2 Click Process.
3. How to Request Editing: Simple stuff, there are just a few things to keep in mind:
   • Make sure to add all of your editing instructions before you request an edit. If you start adding new requests after we’ve already started editing your video, that counts as a revision.
   • When you send a Quicklink to request an edit, make sure to send it to Sunpop Studios (info@sunpop.com)
   • If you want more than 1 file included in your final video, make sure to include all of those files in one single quicklink to us. Think of it like a stew — you want all of your ingredients added to the same pot before we start cooking.
