The T Bar attaches to the short vertical support inside your white background. You attach 2 background lights on one side of the T, and 2 more background lights on the other side of the T, for a total of 4 lights. This number of lights in this exact placement gives you the ideal amount of illumination for your studio background. Note: The T Bar is not used if you’re recording using the vertical orientation for your white background (instead of the recommended horizontal orientation).
