Please keep your teleprompter glass clean. If you have big smudges or spots on the glass you could easily ruin a shoot, and you may not even notice until you’re watching it on a big screen. Also, avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive surfaces when you’re cleaning. It has a special coating to create a nice reflection, and you don’t want to ruin it. Lens cleaning wipes like these work wonderfully.

• Livestream your camera to your laptop or iPad and monitor yourself like you’re practicing to a mirror
• Set up a Skype session with a colleague and conduct an interview style shoot, you can even record their webcam to have both sides of the conversation
• Use free teleprompting software to read your script like a news professional
• Look at your Keynote / PowerPoint and click through the slides while presenting to the camera
